Schmalentines

I'm having a love affair.

It involves fruits, vegetables, and a certain somebody called The Juiceman.

This is the delicious concoction I whipped up yesterday: The Mr. Peabody. A nod to my favorite cartoon dog, and also to the shade of this lovely, lovely bev. One carrot, one apple, one celery stalk, one leaf kale, on chunk ginger, and a small lemon. YUM!

And if you're interested, that nice little woodland glass can be found here along with my favorite set of juice glasses, the 'Heroes of the Torah'.

And here's one of the letterpress prints I made for J.T. in honor of Valentine's Day.. a simple name round-up of our little fur family. I also made him a John Muir quote print, but I'll post that later..

And BIG NEWS! I'm finally back in the realm of music-making. I've been playing bass with my friends Craig and Kris, and it sounds AWESOME. Kind-of a spooky punk/surf vibe. Stay tuned!

Fun-Sized

I am very very excited to share my first foray into Kidz Shirtz!! I've done teeny tiny baby onesies and tees before, but these two designs are exclusively for 'tots'.. I guess that means ages 4 and up? Anyhow, here's the stylish Vinnie; he'll show you how to WORK IT:

That's his coy 'who, me?' pose. Modeling Clever Fox in an evergreen 50/50/25 Am.Apparel. So soft!

I'm pretty sure this is Vinnie's signature 'Superstar!' move. Wearing the purple version of Lion Fever.

I think you've got a future in The Biz, kid!

Mason County Style

Camp Kamilche -HEARTS- houseguests. There's nothing better than hosting pals for a few days of woods-walking, nature crafts, and lumberjack spotting. This week's campers?

Tamala and Paloma! Direct from Los Angeles. They seriously hit the Northwest Winter Weather jackpot.. sunny and magical all week long. With extra mystical fog rising off of the inlet for a cinematic touch:

Beauty! We drove into nearby Shelton for a day of thrifting.. and as seems to be the case whenever Tamala's in town, we actually scored amazing goods! I am now the proud owner of a beautiful homemade Log-Lamp. And we raided the crafting section, on a hunt for googly-eyes (which turned out to be in abundance), with the plan of crafting some nature pals back at home. Add a pinecone, a teddybear nose, and a bow-tie, and amazing things can happen..

Don't be scared of these little guys, they're good luck talismans!

Terrifying, but somehow adorable. We had to plug in the hairdryer for last-minute styling..

And then came the photoshoot:

Tamala and Cone-Tamala. The resemblance is stunning!

Paloma and her little buddy. With new glasses from the thrift!

And so, after much Otis-snuggling and the required trip to the Casino, we sent those two nuts back on the road. See you next time, Campers!
